Jim Thompson used his background in architecture and his wealth from the Thai silk industry to build this house in Bangkok. He bought and disassembled old traditional Thai houses from all over Thailand and rebuilt them here. His complex is made up of 6 individual houses, some of which are connected by wide living room areas.
