Bangkok used to have many klong (canals) all over the city. In fact, in the 1800s it was called the "Venice of the East". Now most of the klong have been filled in. The longest and perhaps most used klong still left is Klong Saen Saep. Speedboats like this one travel its 70+ km picking up and dropping off riders at piers along the way.
