Near Palace in Laos

A close up of the Champassak Palace in Pakse, Laos. It has now been turned into a fancy hotel, but according to my Lonely Planet book, the rates are still fairly reasonable. Maybe I will stay here next time. This building is one of the tallest (if not THE tallest building in the city) and it towers over all that is near it.
