Khoo Inside in Malaysia

The Kongsi, or clan houses are part temple, part family community center. The inside of the Kongsi for the Khoo family was amazingly ornate. Paintings adorned all the walls, intricately carved wooden columns held up the roof, colorful chinese lanterns provided the light. Very beautiful. [Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia]
