Wat Novice in Khon Kaen

As I walked around Wat Nong Wang Muang in Khon Kaen, Thailand, I saw this young monk novice studying on the back steps of the temple. I tried to discretely take his picture, but of course he saw me first and I was unable to get the candid shot. But the one of him looking at the camera with his book closed came out pretty good too, I think. I especially like the ornately carved wooden doors behind him.
