Scary Nagas in Nong Khai

This unbelievably huge concrete sculpture towering over the trees at Sala Kaew Ku was downright scary. The nagas here are protecting Buddha from the rain, but they look to me like they are ready to attack at any minute. Maybe I have seen too many Hollywood monster movies. [Nong Khai, Thailand]
