Mae Fah in Chiang Rai

A view of the garden at the royal villa of the Princess Mother. She hoped that by building a house here, that the hilltribes would be convinced to stop growing opium. The gardens are called Mae Fah, and although they weren’t huge, they were very beautiful. [Doi Tung, Chiang Rai provence, Thailand]
