Farang Mural in Lampang

A close up of the painted murals in Wat Phra That Lampang Luang. Even though the building is supposed to be over 600 years old, I don't think these paintings have been around that long. It looks like Chinese people and French soldiers are depicted here. I wonder what the story is.
