Bad Scrabble Hands
Posted by Stuart at 06:59 PM on May 07, 2004Sometimes I think I am a strange kid. For example, I have absolutely no idea why this web site cracks me up. All it does is show (supposedly) real photos of the worst Scrabble hands ever.
Clicking through this site makes me laugh over and over again. Each new page contains the same thing -- a simple picture of an unbelievalby bad Scrabble hand -- but for some crazy reason I can't control myself.
Am I the only one who has this reaction?
Probably because its happened to most of us all too often. Still it is funny.
I dunno, these could technically only be bad scrabble hands at the beginning of the game. If there's enough letters already on the board, I would take any of them except the ones with 7 vowels. And at the end of the game I would be happy with 7 vowels!
Hmm. Yes Charles, I guess a bad Scrabble hand is dependent on what is actually been played on the board already. But it still is funny to me to try to figure out how the hell I'm going to use seven one-point letters like L E E E A A R :)

Yeah, a giggle or two slipped out while viewing those. Hehe, the plague of all bad scrabble hands are the Qs and Xs! Argh.
