Birthday Week
Posted by Stuart at 01:04 PM on July 06, 2004Part of the reason for the big group dinner at Sphinx this past weekend was that 3 of my friends were celebrating their birthday. For some strange reason, it seems like I am overwhelmed with birthdays this week.
Today I actually did the math to see if it was truly an anomoly. Sure enough, I have about 80 birthdays recorded in my Yahoo Calendar, but this week holds 9 of them.
So even though there are 52 weeks in a year, over 10% of my friends have birthdays in the one week of July 3-10. Weird. Why were so many of my friend’s parents having lots of sex the first week of November?
are your friends american? I dunno, but isn't thanksgiving around that time? or maybe they all really enjoyed halloween :)

Methinks it was a raucous drunken Halloween celebration. My parents claim that was the case, anyway. (Mine is July 2nd, but it doesn't fall in your 3rd to the 10th range).
LoL, I hope all these birthdays aren't too draining on the wallet.
Buzz, I didn't have any birthdays on the 10th, so now that I have added you to the list, I now have 10 friends with birthdays between July 2-9 (out of 81 total recorded birthdays for the year -- 12%!)
Hmmm, in any case, I'm going to go with you guys and say that it was a Halloween thing. Who knows, Buzz that "sexy nurse" costume that your mom was wearing at Halloween '69 might have done the trick...
Well, your question is interesting. (Thai)Winter starts in November. So, what do you think a couple would do when when they get cold at night? :D
Funny you should say that. My Mom *WAS* a nurse in '69.
Buzz, Oh my... and I know your mom, so I am not going to picture her outfit that Halloween! haha.
No, I don't know what she was for Halloween, but she really was a nurse (at Sacred Heart).
I can believe that you could look back at the time of origin
