Rang Khoon in Chiang Rai

A view of the front of Wat Rang Khoon. The entire wat is pure white trimmed with mirrorred tiles which symbolize purity of Body, Speech, and Mind. It was designed by the famous Thai artist Master Chalermchai Kosipipat, one of the King's favorite artists. The artist was actually there supervising construction the day we visited. Isara recongnized him right away, but didn't tell me how famous he was until much later. Otherwise, I would have taken his picture! [Chiang Rai provence, Thailand]
