Volunteers in Chiang Rai

On the bus ride back from Chiang Rai to Phan, Isara and I got off at a random bus stop, crossed the busy highway on foot, and walked a couple blocks to Wat Rong Khoon -- a shockingly shiny white temple in the middle of nowhere. Volunteers from Chiang Mai (boys and women, here) apply white paint and glue and polish the mirrored tiles on the decorative trimmings.
