Pictures of Ayutthaya and Bang Pa-In Palace

Posted by Stuart at 07:36 PM on April 04, 2003

I just finished grading 160 tests, so I celebrated by uploading new pictures from my one-day field trip to Ayutthaya and the King's Summer Palace at Bang Pa-In a week or so ago.

They can be found in the Pictures of Bangkok Day Trips Photo Album.

I like your Ayuthaya 4 pic. You could be a professional photographer. Keep on doing that.

How bad is the SARS concern there? They are closing flights to HK. Are you coming home this summer?

Jock, thanks for the compliment! I wonder if anyone in Bangkok is hiring photographers. Even better if they pay for my travel to exotic locations :) In any case, I agree, the Ayuthaya 4 pic is my favorite as well. Thanks for stopping by!

Concerned guy, so far the SARS problem hasn't reached the panic stage yet. People are concerned, but since there has been no outbreak here, they aren't TOO worried... yet...

And yes, I am planning a trip to SF in August for a swim meet and to take care of some business. Looking forward to that!

Yeah, the SARS makes my family very worry. Last week I flew from Hat-Yai to Bangkok everyone in the aircraft have to wear mask. I also saw some people in BTS wearing mask too. I think people get worry too much about that.
