Kanchanaburi Pics
Posted by Stuart at 09:59 AM on July 08, 2003In other news, a few pictures from my two-day trip to Kanchanaburi province are up. This trip included a visit to the "Bridge over River Kwai", a small Mon village, spelunking in big cave, and sightseeing at a Khmer ruin.
The pictures can be found in the Pictures of Kanchanaburi Photo Album.
HAHAHA. Thank you Buzz for what I am sure is the first 12th grade English pun on my website! I'm sitting here laughing out loud in an Internet cafe in northern Thailand. Too bad no one here speaks English, let alone get a joke like "Kanchanaburi Tales".
I still get in the pool now and then. I took the last couple of weeks off due to article writing, but I hope start again once I return to Bangkok.
Glad you enjoyed the pics by the way... :)
Good pics, Stu. You could subtitle your scrapbook the Kanchaburi Tales. Hopefully you won't write it in Middle English, though. I still have nightmares of Dr. Rigby reading, "Whan that Aprille, with hise shoures soote, The droghte of March hath perced to the roote" etc. etc. Still have flashbacks.
You could turn the trips into a Where's Waldo, but substitute Buddah with Waldo.
Hope everything is going well. You still been hitting the pool?
Peace.
