Still Safe

Posted by Stuart at 08:14 AM on December 24, 2003

By the way, I just wanted to say that I am having a very productive, frustrating, tiring, cold, wet, fun trip so far. I just haven't spent much time in Internet Cafes, so I haven't updated my site much. I've been keeping track on my laptop, though, so I will upload my journal when I get back next week.

In any case, I am safe in Washington DC with my family. Today, we'll visit museums and go see Return of the King tonight.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Greetings from New York City where I'm visiting relatives. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Enjoy ROTK as I found it very captivating and gut wrenching. I'm going off to see Central Park and visit the Angel (Statue) who recently appeared in a TV movie and see if she will make magical moves for my camera.

Regards,
Charles

p.s., your reaction to the relative calm and cleanliness of American cities vs. BKK was also my experience when I returned home from Thailand.

You're going to love ROTK. I know I did. I also got a little onion-eyed at a scene or two (okay, more than just a scene or two, hehe). Glad you're having a great trip so far. Merry Christmas to you too, and hope you have a great new year!

Hi Charles and Lynn.

Yes, ROTK was AWESOME. Close to perfect. (If only it wasn't for the annoying multiple-endings.) If I can find the time, I think I will try to see it again now that I am back in Bangkok.
