Back in BKK

Posted by Stuart at 10:21 AM on December 30, 2003

I've made it safely to Bangkok. I was going to spend a few days in Tokyo, but at the San Francisco airport I decided to put off that trip until later.

I will try to post some of my holiday trip comments and pictures later this week...

I don't know how I ended up reading your journal on the net for 3 hours tonight while I was surfing for information on Chinese style massage!!! Anyhow, I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed reading your jounal, it is very informative and very funny from an American "farang" perspective who living in Thailand and those beautiful pictures. It really eased my home sickness....Thank you for sharing with the world.

Hi Chinda. (And everyone else).

Glad you enjoyed the site. I see now that it is 12 days into the new year and I have yet to make a 2004 posting. Shame on me. I'll try to start it back up again.

Buzz, the Stuart-Tracker is stuck on Bangkok. Haven't left, but haven't updated the site either. By the way, I do try to change the little weather report on the front page to refect where I am at the moment. Sometimes I remember, sometimes I don't :)

No big deal. I just think it is neat you get to see so much of this big ol' world. I guess I am just envious. . I'm glad everything is going well. Keep up the good work on the blog!

Too bad I missed you during your visit! I recommend visiting Tokyo during the spring -- you might as well get the full cherry blossom effect and slightly warmer weather. January is pretty rainy still.

Thanks for the suggestions, Jenn. Your comments make me a little less bummed that I missed the trip. Oh well, Tokyo (in Spring) is still on the list of things to do, along with Hanoi, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Tibet, Northern Laos, Xian....
