Relaxed

I head back to Bangkok soon, but I am in no hurry to go. In fact, I am in no hurry to do anything. I haven't felt this relaxed since... maybe my trip to Laos with Rupert where the only "stress" was trying to figure out the best place to watch the sunset every night.

Speaking of sunsets, AJ and I watched the sun go down over the Gulf last night. We were joined by a Thai man and his wife and son, who were looking for crabs to use for bait to catch squid the next day. He showed us how to find the crabs that were hiding under the sand, and how to dig in and pull them out.

Were you able to dig up any?? How fun!!

I would love to have a mini vacation like that --- no stress, beautiful scenery, fantastic company, wonderful food and drink. aaaaahhhhh!!!!

Love you!!

I left the crab catchin' to others. I love to eat them, but the thought of digging around in the sand by hand for little animals with big pinchers who are mad enough to use them didn't really appeal to me.

I know what you mean by relaxing. I've been on Koh Samui for about 3 weeks now except for a stint on Phangan for the full moon party last weekend. It's great here. So relaxing. I'm also working off of my laptop from here, what a great way to live for a bit! Good beach, good people, good weather... lovin' Koh Samui.
